45 minutes to either Dubai or Abu Dhabi International Airports

The Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa is situated approximately two kilometres from the trunk of The Palm Jebel Ali. This extraordinary man-made island in the shape of a date palm tree, will be the location for a variety of entertainment and residential complexes o­nce it is completed. Next to The Palm Jebel Ali is Dubai Waterfront, dubbed the world’s largest waterfront development, which will feature a series of commercial and residential communities.

Development of Dubai Waterfront and The Palm Jebel Ali continues to the north west of the resort with land profiling works the predominant activity. The Palm recently commenced with the creation of the causeway from the crescent to the main land mass where it will connect approximately 400 metres from the border of the Resort. Work o­n the causeway is expected to be complete by end of June 2007 and might generate occasional audio disturbance, dust and a slight change in water clarity. Although the island’s crescent and the vessels associated with creating this extraordinary project are visible from the resort at a distance, they do not cause visual disturbance for our guests.

Dubai Waterfront have erected their boundary fence to the west of the resort running from the seafront to Sheikh Zayed Road, although this does not affect guests at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa logistically or visually. The boundary of Dubai Waterfront is at the nearest point approximately half a kilometre from the resort and at this time is not affecting guests’ enjoyment of our self contained property.

The development of The Palm Jebel Ali remains static from the resort’s perspective with occasional audio disturbance from land reclamation activities. Boats are apparent o­n the horizon although at such a distance from the resort do not cause either audio or visual disturbance.

Golf View and Sea View Rooms
Offering views of either the Resort Golf Course or the beach and gardens, the 32 sqm tastefully decorated rooms can accommodate up to two adults and o­ne child below the age of 12. All rooms feature a small standing balcony and king or twin beds.

Superior Golf View Rooms
The elegant 60 sqm rooms are located o­n the fifth floor and feature a king bed, spacious bathrooms with walk-in shower, walk-in wardrobe and a small standing balcony. Up to two adults and two children below the age of 12 can be accommodated.

Executive & Superior Executive Suites
Offering a separate sitting and sleeping area, the comfortable 56 sqm Executive Suites o­n the fourth and fifth floor allow a stunning view o­nto the Arabian Gulf. Up to two adults and two children below the age of 12 can be accommodated. All Executive Suites have king beds.

Signatures
Situated at the Palm Tree Court & Spa, Signatures features an extravagantly exquisite menu with a heavy French influence, as well as a selection of ovr 60 fine wines from France and other parts of the world. Dishes range from delicacies such as "gratinated Saint Pierre" under an artichoke crust and tomato risotto to pan roasted breast of Guinea Fowl and sauteed Foie Gras.

La Fontana Restaurant
Overlooking the Palm Tree Court & Spa's swimming pool o­n the lower reception level, the La Fontana Restaurant serves up a lively touch of Mediterranean cuisine alongside a palate-pleasing array of international dishes. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

La Traviata Restaurant
Set o­n the lower-ground level of the Jebel Ali Hotel, the La Traviata Restaurant can be reached by taking the winding staircase down from the Lobby Lounge, or via o­ne of the four elevators. The perfect place for an intimate dinner setting, and regional Italian cuisine ranging from Neapolitan to Piedmontese.

The White Orchid Restaurant
Located o­n the main level of the Palm Tree Court & Spa reception, with stunning views of the gardens, beach and the Arabian Gulf, the White Orchid Restaurant serves up exotic cuisine from the Far East . Enjoy Chinese, Japanese and Thai specialities in an exquisite setting overlooking the La Fontana Pool, with seating indoors or al-fresco o­n the terrace. The White Orchid Restaurant features live cooking at the exciting Teppannyaki table. Four different five-course set menus are bound to satisfy diners expectations, while the show itself is pure entertainment. The Teppanyaki table sits six, and advance reservations are required.

Ibn Majid Coffee House
Open 24 hours, the Coffee House Restaurant is the preferred choice for opulent buffets throughout the day, and features an a la carte menu after 11PM. Every evening has a different Theme Night Menu, from Continental to Caribbean, from Alpine to Far Eastern. Spacious in design, the Coffee House offers ample seating and tables overlooking the swimming pool and the beaches.
The new Ibn Majed Restaurant and adjoining Sunset Lounge in the Jebel Ali Hotel lobby now feature contemporary interiors in warm wood and fabrics, sleek aluminium finishes and light marble floors.  The new design has opened up the lobby with a refreshing use of space which are enhanced with views of the beach and gardens

Shooters Restaurant
Famous for its flame-grilled American Steaks and American Western style dcor, the Shooters Restaurant is located in the Jebel Ali Shooting Clubhouse. The unpretentious all-wood, turn-of-century-style chairs and heavy, solid-wood round and square tables go hand-in-hand with the simple, uncluttered dcor. The circular wall facing the clay shooting ranges is glassed from floor to ceiling, allowing an unimpeded view of the terrace and the shooting activities below.

Palmito Garden
Located in the Jebel Ali Hotel gardens, the Palmito Garden Restaurant hosts seasonal Theme Night Dinners under the stars. Reservations are always required for these exciting Theme Night Extravaganza dinners. The Arabic theme is probably the most sought after by guests at the Resort, featuring authentic Arabian dcor, belly dancers, camel rides, and Arabian cuisine, Ample seating around the stage is available, for true enjoyment of the live entertainment and resort ambience.

Captains Bar
This beachfront outlet is the ideal stop for a refreshing drink after sun-lounging in the resort gardens. Here guests can enjoy light lunches and snacks during the day, or relax to the sound of the waves at sunset.

The Anchor
Set within the Palm Tree Court & Spa tropical gardens, The Anchor affords an unobstructed view of the beach. Its teakwood tables and chairs impart a cosy, comfortable feeling, making this the perfect place to savour a light lunch or cold refreshment before heading back to the beach.

Plantation Bar
This spacious bar located at the Jebel Ali Hotel has solid wood furnishings and artefacts, as well as semi-private seating areas with open views of the Marina and the beach, making it a favourite spot for before and after dinner drinks.

Clipper Bar
Featuring a maritime dcor, the Clipper Bar is renowned for its great cocktails and live entertainment. Located nearby the Reception area of The Palm Tree Court & Spa.

Shooters Bar
Located in the Jebel Ali Shooting Club House, the Shooters Bar overlooks the clay shooting ranges, and is the ideal cooling-down stop-over after an exhilarating round of clay or pistol shooting.

Sports Cafe
The perfect gathering place for avid sports fans before or after practice, the Club Joumana Sports Cafs greatest attractor is the large screen TV, perfect for viewing the worlds best sports channels. Located in the Joumana Clubhouse overlooking the Marina, the concept combines fun fusion cuisine, traditional pub food and daily happy "road runners" happy hours. Seating is available both, indoor and o­n the terrace by the marina.

Golf Course
The 9-hole, par 36, championship standard Resort Course is situated within the idyllic grounds of the Resort. Designed by Peter Harradine and opened in 1998, the Resort Course has hosted the world’s best players as part of the official curtain raiser to the European PGA Tour event, the Dubai Desert Classic.
Each hole is uniquely landscaped with exotic trees, shrubs and original desert flora and the course also features a saltwater lake which comes into play o­n five holes. The wooden gazebos, views of the Arabian Gulf and peacocks which freely roam the fairways have added a special charm to this course that is a fair and exciting challenge for golfers of all abilities.

Pools & Beach
With a choice of two fresh water and o­ne saltwater pool in addition to nearly a kilometre long private beach, you have unmatched views and shaded areas within the lush Resort gardens. Food and beverage are served at the many pool and beach bars throughout the day.

Water Sports
When staying at the Resort you will have access to a full range of water sports. While water skiing and banana boat rides plays o­n the excitement of speed in the water, windsurfing, laser and catamaran vessels allow you to test your steering skills as the wind pick up. Tuition is available.

Leisure Sports
Club Joumana offers a variety of leisure and recreational facilities. A separate centre for shooting and sport excellence is located just three kilometres from the Resort. Four or eight hour deep-sea fishing trips into the Arabian Gulf depart from the Resort’s private marina.

Shooting Club
The impressive fortress style architecture as you first enter, makes the Jebel Ali International Shooting Club an imposing sight from the very start. This indoor and outdoor shooting academy, built to exacting international safety standards, makes the exciting sport of recreational and competitive shooting easily accessible to all.

Centre of Excellence
The Jebel Ali International Centre of Excellence comprises a Sports Academy and Leadership Centre which provides training and development facilities and activities for sports clubs, schools, youth clubs and corporate businesses from across the globe. The facility is located within the 168 acre grounds of the Jebel Ali International Shooting Club.

Peaco Club
Plenty of activities are organised for youngsters throughout the Resort. The Peaco Club operates daily throughout the year for children between 3 and 12 years. Open from 10.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 7pm, a weekly activity programme is scheduled and a pet corner is available to keep the little o­nes happy.
If the parents need an evening out, the Resort offers a baby sitting service for children over the age of 1 year. Children over the age of 3 years can avail of the babysitting service after the Peaco Club is closed until 1am.
Kindly note babysitting is available o­n request and must be booked in advance (preferably at least a day’s notice). The Baby Sitting service is subject to availability and is allocated o­n a first come first service basis. For further information, please contact the Resort.

Horse Riding
The Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa is the o­nly Resort in Dubai which has its own air-conditioned stables. The Resort features its own spacious paddock where riding tuition under the guidance of qualified riding instructors is given.
Its location close to the Resort’s main entrance makes this facility easily accessible to all resident guests and visitors. The stable building is flanked by a vast paddock approximately 70 metres by 40 metres in size. Landscaped gardens encompassing palm trees, grass and desert shrubs surround the picturesque site and in addition beautiful viewing areas under thatched gazebos are available for guests.
The Stables offer tuition in a fully equipped schooling environment for beginners or for those who haven’t been riding for while. Regular riders who are trained in all paces of the horse can enjoy the natural desert surroundings of the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa by experiencing the outdoor rides.
Hard hats and half chaps are provided free of charge for the duration of your lesson or outdoor ride. For the comfort of guests, long trousers and flat shoes with a small heel should be worn.
The Stables operate from 7am to 12 noon, and again from 4pm to 7pm. Please note the Stables are closed o­n Mondays (animal rest day) and during the summer months from June to September.
During summer period Horse Riding will be from 0600hrs to 0800hrs and from 1700hrs to 1900hrs.

Deep-Sea Fishing
Fishing in the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf is certain to provide anyone with a memorable time. Whether you are an accomplished fisherman or new to the sport of deep-sea fishing, the daily fishing trips leaving from the Resort's private marina will undoubtedly be an experience you'll never forget.
