Construction Update

Based o­n guest feedback, Al Qasr at Madinat Jumeirah is creating a state of the art waiting lounge to serve early arrivals and late departing guests. The lounge is situated in a former reservations office and is not visible from the lobby, rooms or indeed any public area in the hotel.Starting this week, the project will carry o­n over the next four months. Disruption will be kept to a minimum, however, there will be a certain amount of noise in the initial demolition phase. Any work that does create excessive noise will take place between 10:30 and 18:00 hrs o­nly.When finished, the lounge will have an array of features to make sure that any waiting time for guests is as comfortable as possible. Such features include a manned reception, toilet and shower facilities, reclining luxury chairs, access to the terrace, laptops, internet access, and luggage lockers.

Madinat Jumeirah is superbly well located in the prestigious area of Dubai known as Jumeirah. This is an up-market residential zone with hotels at intervals o­n the beach. Road links from the hotel are excellent and provide easy access to all local amenities and business districts. The area is well served by taxis and Madinat Jumeirah has its own limousine service.
